About Wendy Chouteau

Hi, I’m Wendy, proud mama of three, who I homeschool, a wife, and a life coach who believes women deserve more than just survival mode.

I’m also a fitness enthusiast, a lover of self-growth, and someone who finds joy in holistic living—whether that’s baking sourdough, making my own yogurt and body lotions, or exploring new opportunities with my family.

But beyond all that, I’m a woman who knows what it feels like to lose herself. I know the guilt, the loneliness, the exhaustion, and the silent question: “Who am I anymore?”

In the early days of motherhood, I felt lost and lonely. I was learning to understand my son while grieving the version of myself I once knew. No one told me that motherhood would come with fear, frustration, and moments of deep sadness. The world painted it as only sweet and beautiful—but I discovered it could also feel heavy and overwhelming.

Then, years later, life broke me wide open. My husband, Chris, was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s. He was young, healthy, strong—it made no sense. I cried for months, weighed down by endless what-ifs: What if he gets worse quickly? What if he can’t play ball with our kids? What if our dreams of traveling one day disappear? What if I have to carry it all—finances, caregiving, homeschooling, sports, and everyday life—on my own? I grieved the life I thought we were going to have, and I felt shattered.

One day, in the middle of holding it all in, I dropped a glass bowl in the driveway. It broke into a thousand pieces, and I fell apart right there too. My neighbor hugged me as I sobbed, and when Chris came outside, I told him: “This is my life—shattered, broken.” He looked at me and said words that changed everything: “It’s just going to look a bit different now.”

Those words hit deep. Our life wasn’t over—it was simply going to look different. I still had my husband, our kids, and a family full of love. That moment became my turning point. I realized I didn’t have to stay stuck in grief. I could anchor myself in resilience, rebuild, and begin a new chapter.

That’s why I’m here. To walk beside women who are tired of carrying it all alone. To remind you that you’re not broken, you’re not failing—you’re just ready for change.
